V620 Email Settings

The Motorola V620 has an integrated email program. View the 'Messages' --> 'Email Msgs' inbox where the V620 stores email mesages. These can be viewed, edited and deleted very much like ordinary txt messages. The settings for setting up the V620 to access pop3 or imap email accounts is given below:

Step 1:

See if your email providers details are listed in the following PDF file.

Step 2:

If you are on the o2 Network:

Goto the Email Setup page on your phone at Menu-->Messages-->(Menu Key)-->Email Msg Setup.

Then enter the details as provided in the above PDF file. (View Example)
If your email provider is not listed in the above file then try entering the normal email settings for your email account BUT the smpt outgoing mail server MUST be set as 'smtp.o2.co.uk' as this is the only way to send outgoing email messages from your phone.

Email works for both Contract and Pay and Go.

 

If you are on another network:

Goto the Email Setup page on your phone at Menu-->Messages-->(Menu Key)-->Email Msg Setup.

Then enter the details as provided in the above PDF file. (View Example) BUT the smpt outgoing mail server has to be set to your mobile providers smtp sever.
If your email provider is not listed in the above file then try entering the normal email settings for your email account BUT the smpt outgoing mail server has to be set to your mobile providers smtp sever. Contact your service provider for details

(these settings are for the o2 network and for a username@o2.co.uk email account, however you shold be able to work out what you need to change to access your specific email account.)
